Australian Government Has Announced to Increase the Immigration From 35k to 195k

The Australian government has announced its permanent immigration to increase by 35,000 to 195,000 in the current year as they have the labor shortages. They need skilled workers. Because of the Covid Pandemic, the shortage of workers has increased. The Home Minister Clare O’Neil of the Australian government announced an increase in the immigration for the year June 30, 2023. She said that there would be a two day summit of 140 representatives of governments, trade unions, businesses and all the industries to teach the skills to workmen which has been reduced due to the Covid-19 period. She added that the impacts of the pandemic have been so severe that they are having shortages of skilled workers. They have announced plans to establish a panel to rebuild the immigration program.
