Haya Aslam and Arfaa Ilyas stood first in the competition. Upon asking about the thought behind the painting, Arfaa said, “The closest thing to global warming was fire, so I thought it would be a great idea.”
In an exclusive talk with TeamAEM, Munir Ahmed, CEO Development Communications said, “Global Warming is a global phenomenon and affects us equally, there is a dire need to spread awareness on grassroot level. As it can cause serious challenges to the environment as well as the society”.
Such events are good for awareness, as art, in any of its forms, is the best way to ponder, particularly painting leaves a lasting impact on the minds of the people. This event was also very interesting, as it not only is an awareness program, but it also provided young painters with an opportunity to put their talent before the world.
